Repair Options for MineVent® / MineDuct®

MineVent® or MineDuct® tubing may be damaged by machinery or blasting. For that reason, ABC provides special repair kits for quick, inexpensive repairs.
 

Option #1 – Adhesive Repair Kit

The adhesive repair kit includes a tube of PVC cement and five yards of VentaTex® RIPSTOP fabric.

Option #2 – Sewing-Style Repair Kit

The sewing-style repair kit includes two 5­ curved needles and two ready wound bobbins (thread).

Option #3 - Zipper Repair Sleeve

A Zipper Repair Sleeve provides an expedient option of repairing ABC
MineVent® Tubing.  This repair sleeve can also add extra protection to high wear areas to help eliminate costly downtime.  The Zipper Sleeve can simply be unzipped, wrapped around the affected area and re-zipped to install.  The damaged area is then secured when positive pressure is applied.
